Having opted for a slower pace of life hidden in an idyllic and remote glen in the Scottish Highlands, I decided to start writing about the books I’m reading in a blog format, because social media is so full of AI generated slop these days, that its just not fun anymore.
So, I’m going back to my roots on Al Gore’s internet, and returning to Ye Olde Blog format! Expect book reviews, posts about books, and maybe even the odd snippet of original fiction from my WIP pile.
Just so you know what you’re getting- I’m queer, trans, anti-fascist, firmly rooted in progressive Christian traditions that radically oppose Christian nationalism in all its forms on both sides of the Atlantic, and an unrepentant Book Goblin. Expect reviews to come from a lens of social justice, expect me to comment on books that lack diversity, and expect a wide spread of genres – my reading tastes covers pretty much everything. All reviews reflect my honest assessment of a text, and obviously your mileage may vary.
